In general good.
Even though I booked 3 weeks in advance for double bed room, on my arrival I was given basement room with no window, no tv, no telephone no bed side table and noises from outside. I was upset and informed them I will not accept this; they said it is fully booked; they promise to change good room next day and as sign of good gesture to allow breakfast free for 3days; which they have done. The room on my second day was great with all its facility.

The people, the place, the service. There is a lady (Hayat) and two gentlemen (Laith and Sami), that i really like to thank them. They were very cooperative and supportive.

The hotel is close to everything, 10 minutes walking to the mosque and the old city, you can rent a baggie too! many shops in the same street, so much restaurants & coffee shops that are clean with a good price and tasty food. We only had breakfast at the hotel; it was good enough though. We mainly went to the old city but the bus station and the train station are close too, if you want to go to the city center (it takes 15-20 minutes). If you have a car, there’re parking lots in the hotel and around.
The check-in took a little more than expected but the staff (the receptionists Sondos and Hayat & the housekeeper Rami) cared to give us clean comfort rooms eventually, one of the rooms was a little small but we went to the reception and soon enough they switched our room to a bigger and better room!

What was the highlight of National Hotel - Jerusalem
Wish I could go again.
I went twice this year and each time the service was good. It's well located. The rooms are spacious and have all the basic amenities. The breakfast is very good. In December 2023 when we went, even though there was a huge drop in its guests for dinner, around 12 people, the staff did its best to provide us with a cute and tasty buffet.
